Numerous studies show how COVID-19 impacted people’s lives worldwide. However, only a few studies were conducted regarding the adverse impact of COVID-19 on students’ learning and mental health in higher education. This study predicts students in minority groups are affected the most compared to their non-minority counterparts. Arizona State University students will be surveyed to determine the pandemic’s impact on their studies and mental health. All answers will be compared by demographics and assessed using descriptive statistics and chi-square using SPSS. The study’s result will give light on how programs, such as counseling and tutor departments, in the university, could help better students affected by COVID-19 the most.
