Poster 49 – How a novel partnership, to support rural healthcare teams, changed the way we approach statistics and data analysis.

There are many resource constraints in healthcare, particularly in rural healthcare settings. Rural health centers (RHCs), federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and critical access hospitals (CAHs) are the foundation of care for those that are underserved. To move to value-based contracts, there needs to be a deep understanding of how clinical workflows impact data entry, extraction, validation and reporting. Interoperability also presents a challenge to rural healthcare systems that are often without robust technical resources. This novel partnership addresses all of these barriers through a holistic approach that is designed for individual practices based on the systems they have in place at no cost to them.
